More feel-good news from Vacances Sous Voiles: wellness cruises. Introducing a new package that combines sailing, yoga and Pilates along the beaches of the British Virgin Islands. A getaway that caters to the mind, body and soul, you’ll rediscover your inner self among the natural and peaceful beauty of the British Virgin Islands, far from the bustle of tourist traps.
DATES:
April 18 to April 25, 2010
THE DESTINATION – THE BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS:
Where the Caribbean meets the Atlantic, east of Puerto Rico, there’s a chain of 60 islands called the British Virgin Islands.
This tropical paradise is home to desert beaches, crystal-clear waters, magnificent bays and protected parks. It is spellbindingly beautiful and peaceful. The island’s slogan, “nature’s little secret,” speaks volume, while the rich sea life leaves you speechless: corals, fish species galore, dolphins, giant sea turtles, etc. We sail waters that are sheltered by the islands, hence waves and swells are never a factor. As for the warm easterly trade winds, they are a constant companion, dependably inspiring us forward at comfortable speeds. The British Virgin Islands live up to their reputation as the watersports capital of the Caribbean.
CRUISES DESIGNED AROUND YOU:
Our guests’ comfort and safety are paramount, which is why we have assembled a team of highly skilled professionals – skippers, attendants/chefs, instructors – who always go the extra nautical mile to tailor your cruise around you.
Our seasoned skippers have been sailing the British Virgin Islands for years. You won’t find better guides to help you discover the beauty and richness of the region. Meanwhile, the onboard chef will look after preparing deliciously balanced meals, freeing you to savor the joys of sailing, snorkeling, or simply beaching it, where you can also indulge in relaxation and stretching exercises with your private instructor.
